About

The Organized Nook is written for people who live in small rental apartments, the kind with one kitchen cabinet doing three jobs and a closet you can't add shelves to. The focus is New York–sized spaces, though the measurements work anywhere.

We keep it practical. Every guide lists the dimensions that decide whether something fits, says what each product does badly, and makes clear which items we researched and which we have used.

This site is run by a working renter, not a brand, and not a team of product testers. If that changes, these pages will say so.
